Dr Quentin Rahaus

Senior Dental Surgeon

BDSc(Melb), GradDipClinDent(Melb), FPFA, DentTech(RMIT)

Dr Rahaus is a senior dentist with a background as a dental technician. He has undertaken a Post-graduate Diploma in both implantology, and crown and bridge.   He has advanced knowledge in computer assisted design and manufacture. One of the few Dentists in Australia that can offer his patients a 24 hour turnaround time for milled titanium implant supported prosthesis, Dr Rahaus, produces all prosthesis in a world class laboratory in Darwin. He is a Fellow of the Pierre Fachard Academy. Maintaining an active role with the Dental Board of Australia sitting on a number of committees since 2016, Quentin accepts referrals from other dentists for complex dental rehabilitation.

Quentin has made Darwin his home and enjoys wind and watersports and all aspects of living in the “Top End”. He cares about his patients and dedicates his time to making sure they are happy and comfortable with their new smiles and they are confident to eat, socialise and enjoy their new appearance.

Dr Leon Smith

Specialist Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon

MBBS, BDSc, Grad Dip(OMS), FRACDS(OMS)

Dr Leon Smith is a dual-qualified specialist oral and maxillofacial surgeon.

He completed a Bachelor of Dentistry at the University of Western Australia in 2001. He then practiced in general dentistry in Western Australia and the Northern Territory. Leon completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at the University of Melbourne (2006, 2009). He returned to Victoria to complete his advanced surgical training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and Royal Children’s Hospital of Melbourne

Leon is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and has completed post-fellowship training in orthognathic (corrective jaw) surgery, facial trauma surgery and head and neck surgery at Royal Melbourne Hospital and Royal Darwin Hospital. He has a special interest in orthognathic surgery, oral and facial implant surgery, facial trauma surgery and indigenous health.

Leon has sat on the federal council for the Australian and New Zealand Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and is actively involved with training dentists and advanced surgical trainees at the University of Western Australia.
